Who We Are

We are all residents of Aquidneck Island, some born here, the rest have chosen this island on which to put down our roots.   Concerned about the threats of global climate change, food insecurity and the lack of sustainability in our lives, we banded together to make a difference.  With the opportunity to lease prime farmland from the Aquidneck Land Trust, we established Island Community Farms to make food and farming the foundation of our efforts to support sustainability of this Island that we love.
